The Recording

This recording presents the music of Ed Reavy, one of the most important composers
of Irish music in this century. Since he started composing in Philadelphia in the 1930's,
his music has spread far and wide, both to other parts of America and to Ireland,
where many of his tunes have become part of the staple repertoire of most traditional musicians.
